How to Build the Best Post-Workout Protein Recovery Smoothies

We’ve gathered three of our tried and true protein smoothie recipes that we’re sure you’ll love. They are easy to make and all use the same ingredients so you can make them in the same week without having to run back and forth from the store. That’s a double win in our book!

 

Top Tips for Making Smoothies

  1. Don’t add your protein directly to the ice because it may clump on the ice and be more difficult to blend.
  2. If you use frozen fruit, decrease the amount of ice to avoid making the mixture a slushie — Or if you want a summer treat, add more ice to make a slushie!
  3. You can substitute any of the INFINIT proteins used for other INFINIT Protein formulas. For example, feel free to switch out :REPAIR for your Custom Protein Blend!
  4. We used almond milk in these recipes but you can substitute it for any other milk derivative (i.e. oat milk, cow milk, yogurt, etc.)
  5. If you want to get more veggies in, try adding some spinach for added volume but no change in taste!
  6. You can use flavored or unflavored protein powder

Berry :REPAIR-y Protein Smoothie

This berry delicious treat is the perfect recovery for those busy days. Whether it’s a quick recovery between errands or a summer treat, you’re sure to enjoy this refreshing, fruity blend.

Makes: Two 21 ounce servings

2 Soothies in glasses with a strawberry on the rim of each glass

Ingredients:

  • 4 oz almond milk
  • 2 scoops INFINIT :REPAIR (or Custom Protein mix)
  • 1 cup strawberries (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 16-24 ounces ice (about half a blender)

INFINITip: Substitute :REPAIR for equal scoops of your Custom Protein Blend for a 5g protein boost!


Directions:

  1. In a bowl, mix almond milk and protein until combined and add to a blender.
  2. Add strawberries, blueberries, and banana to the blender and blend until smooth.
  3. Slowly add ice to the blender and blend until smooth.
  4. Pour, Recover & Enjoy!

INFINITip: If your banana isn’t ripe, pop it in the microwave for 20 seconds for easier blending.

Nightcap Recovery Smoothie with Bailey's

Adults Only!

Keep this one away from the kids! The perfect adult-friendly treat to relax and recover your body at the end of the day & ensure you get a good night's sleep.

Makes: Two 21 ounce servings

Ingredients:

  • 4 oz almond milk
  • 3 oz of Bailey’s Irish Cream Liquor (optional)
  • 1 scoop INFINIT :NOCTURNE
  • 1 cup strawberries (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 cup raspberries (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 cup of blueberries (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 16-24 ounces of ice (about half a blender)

Directions:

  1. In a bowl, mix almond milk, Bailey’s, and :NOCTURNE until combined and add to a blender.
  2. Add strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, and banana to a blender and blend until smooth.
  3. Slowly add ice to the blender and blend until smooth.
  4. Pour, Recover & Enjoy!

Strawberry Banana Custom Protein Smoothie

This recipe is sure to compliment any of our Custom Protein flavor options. Feel free to add, subtract, or substitute any of the fruits listed below to make it your own!
